hi gordon there is a sign at end of the marina saying no fishing behond this point spoke to water ways thay said
gate should not be locked thay will investagte also found this info South bank (downstream): Use the small lane on the right hand side of the old Black Horse public house, in between the canal and the river. Parking is available on the patch of land across the road from the public house.
PLEASE AVOID FISHING NEXT TO ANY MOORED BOATS .this is the link http://www.bradfordcityaa.co.uk /site/?page_id=785#2 so if no boats are moored on jettys and you fish from bank is that ok there spike gates leading on to jettys with sign saying no fishing all local lads said if you keep of jettys it was ok there is a no fishing sign on grass part at side of pub this needs clarifying properly

To Mr Huntington regarding keys

The lock is a BW lock and keys are not available, no vehicles except BW and contractors are allowed on the bank.

Hi Gary

Regarding access at Rawcliffe Bridge downstream, if you go over the gate on the same side as the car park, then turn right and go under the bridge, you can follow the towpath around the marina, you do have to cross a style, fishing in the marina is not allowed (BW signs) but the stretch below the marina as far as Goole is OK to fish.
If you encounter any problems ie travellers, ask for their names or make a note of their boat number and contact me.

Hi, thinking about pleasure fishing at either Heck or Pollington on wednesday. Which is fishing best at the moment and what baits are working? Probably going to use pole or float.... any other tips welcome, cheers.

To Steve Lupton
Hi Steve, it id better to get a ticket from Cost Cutter Store in Rawcliffe Bridge, a lot of skimmers have been coming out at Heck, behind the bungalow in the bay, also NewBridge has been fishing well.
